The DT Secretary Sector of the Wangdue Phodrang Dzongkhag Administration is committed to fostering an accountable, transparent, and efficient local government, while supporting a happy and safe Bhutan through effective disaster risk reduction initiatives. The sector oversees the coordination of disaster risk management activities, promotes public awareness on disaster prevention and mitigation, prepares Dzongkhag-level disaster management plans, ensures prompt disaster response and recovery, and facilitates the conduct of Dzongkhag Tshogdu sessions.
