Bayta Primary School was started in the year 2005. The location of the school lies is at the beautiful valley of Gangtey above the Phobjikha. The school has an area of 5.63 acre and is located at the altitude of 1713 meters above sea level, and is 65 km away from Bajo town. As of now the school have 2 building for academic purposes which includes office, staff room, Library, general store and lab. This school also has a very small dining hall constructed by the community and ECCD centre in the campus. In addtion the school has basic facilities for games and sports i.e a primary level football ground, volley ball court, badminton court and a children park.
