During the last two days, there had been three incidences of forest fire under Wangdue Phodrang Dzongkhag, the first was above Rinchengang school, the second at Rabuna forest area and the third above Hali village under Nahi gewog. However, in all the three incidences, the fire was controlled before any significant damages were done through collective efforts from the RBA, Wangdue Desuups, RBP, PHPA Fire Security unit, local people and the govt officials. The Dzongkhag Administration would like to convey our sincere thanks to all the agencies involved and would expect the same cooperation. Special thanks to the Wangdue Desuups and RBP for being the first to arrive at the scene in all the three incidences mentioned above.
