In partial fulfillment of the Dzongkhag’s aim of creating job opportunities for the unemployed youths and bringing economic development in the district, the Dzongkhag Administration of Wangduephodrang is conducting a 15 days (120 hours) of Basic Entrepreneurship Program for 23 youths (7 gents and 16 ladies), majority of whom are Class 12 passed at the conference hall of ARDC, Bajo.
The youths will be taught all the basics of entrepreneurial skills, business opportunities in the country, funding assistance, development of business plans, financial management, exploring individual competencies and development of business proposals and prototype after the course completion. Inspiring stories from successful youth entrepreneurs in the dzongkhag will also be shared with the participants as a part of the program.
The opening of the program was graced by the Dzongdag on 12/6/2019.
