The 7th Dzongkhag Tshogdu (DT) Session of the 3rd Local Government for Wangdue Phodrang convened on 19th March 2025, with the gracious presence of Hon'ble Health Minister Lyonpo Tandin Wangchuk for the opening session. The session began with a review of the follow-up actions from the 6th DT, followed by the Mid-Term Progress Report on the ongoing developmental activities in the gewogs and sectors for the fiscal year 2024-2025.
The members were presented with the 3D Conceptual Plan for the Vegetable Markets in Bajo town and deliberated extensively on it.
Additionally, the members of the house discussed various pertinent concerns and challenges, including the accessibility of the Economic Stimulus Program (ESP) loan for farmers, the need for a boarding facility for students at Kazhi PS, and poor network connectivity. The session focused and concluded on addressing these key issues and strategizing for further development in the dzongkhag.
