The Honourable Speaker of National Assembly graced the opening of Radzawog bailey bridge today on 14th July 2019. This day was only the hope for the 4 villages namely Tangkhakha-4 households, Zill-5 households, Lokhache-5 households & Radzawog-11 households under Goensar Chiwog in Nyisho Gewog since long time back. The structure was constructed with a total budget of Nu. 8.5 Million.
The bridge will be benefiting to enhance connectivity and market access to the people of four villages. During the inauguration, the Honorable Speaker highlighted that the bridge will serve for transportation of local produce to markets as well as it marks the connectivity of humanity.
Further, he urged the people gathered for the program to take ownership and take care of the structure and the road. The Honourable Speaker acknowlwdged the Dzongkhag Administration, Gewog Administration and all other stakeholders involved in bringing up the structure. Nevertheless, the speaker thanked the past government and Ex Sephu-Nyisho Demngo Dasho Kuenga for great lead to commence the construction.
