DAIRY PRODUCTS PRESERVATION/VALUE ADDITION

With bitter experiences of products spoilage during the nationwide lockdown in August 2020 the Wangdue Phodrang Gonor Detshen came up with a strategy to preserve livestock products, especially the highly perishable dairy products. Marketing of the products had been difficult and the dairy products got spoilt and the livestock sector and farmers had to bear losses.

With this constraint in mind Wangdue Phodrang Gonor Detshen with support from the RLDC-WCR is running a field trial to preserve dairy products. A brief report will be presented soon.
